PP (as he is lovingly called) is a RARE FULL Royal Alianza Herdsire! He is holding his fineness into his sixth year with a micron count of 24.6! When Connie spun his fiber for the first time, she took the skein into Pat and handed it to him, and said, “Guess who this is.” Pat felt the skein and exclaimed, “Which cria is this from?” “It’s not a cria,” Connie bubbled enthusiastically, “IT’S POWDER!!!!!”

Powder has numerous cria on the ground and they are all going into the showring. All of his cria that have gone into the show ring have received ribbons including three that went to the AOBA National Conference! He keeps astounding us with what he produces regardless of which female he breeds, he continuously improves on himself as well as the female!

Powder’s breeding fee is $3,500 and is limited to five outside breedings per year. All potential ladies must submit their credentials for consideration.

Powder is producing consistency in ALL of his cria! His genes are strong! Consistency in the results of the cria is the key to ALL successful breeding programs. Crossroads Alpaca Farm, LLC has reached this consistency in four short years with the addition of Powder to our breeding program.

Fiber: Fine ... Dense ... Crimp from Head to Toe.
Color: Med. Brown - Solid Color
Testicles: Normal size and symmetrical.
Ribbons: King Arthur has so many ribbons we can hardly count them. The most recent one was at the North American International Livestock where he took 2nd place and the judge was impressed with how he is holding his fineness!
Disposition: Wort (as we lovingly call him, after all as you may recall, King Arthur’s nickname when he was a boy was Wort), is a wonderfully gentle young man. He is in a 4H program this year and is doing wonderfully for his handler. We expect GREAT things from King Arthur, and so far he sure is living up to his name.

King Arthur is the first cria born in our farm, and I promised my Dad that the first boy born to us we would name after him..... here he is Dad... King Arthur Eugene!

Has settled 1st females this fall - Breeding fee is $2000 - limited outside breedings.

You can see the Accoyo in him from his grand-sire Peruvian Accoyo Victor. Sammy is 1/2 Accoyo, 3/4 Peruvian, and 1/4 Chilean. He is solidly and genetically diverse.

Samson Corazon El Victor (aka Sammy) has settled his first females . We can hardly wait to see his first cria due in the Spring of 2005!

Sammy has taken numerous 1st place ribbons in Halter and has also taken numerous first place ribbons for his fleece.

A phenomenal aspect of Sammy is that his fleece length of his neck fiber! It is nearly as long as his blanket and his 2004 clip exhibited 4” length in his neck fiber and 5” in his blanket!!!!! He also has excellent and uniform crimp and superior coverage and is also conformationally correct.
